Twitter made me smile today

I was experimenting with some of the features of Twitter I hadn’t used before and came upon this amazingness that made me smile. When you go to the devices section of the Twitter page to setup your mobile phone for Twitter, it gives you a little code that you need to text message to Twitter for them to activate your phone. This step is to verify that the number you enter is really your phone number. The part that made me smile is this.

At first this just looked like an annoying string of letters. I smiled when I realized that Twitter took the time to create a random set of letters that only contained those that were available on your phone with one button press. Instead of getting “fhkozc” which would’ve required me to press 3334455666999222 I only had to cruise through pressing 534894. Well done Twitter.
