I bought a Dwarf Bearss Lime Tree on Sunday evening and I couldn’t be more excited. I’ve always loved plants, but a lime tree is even more exciting than the average plant. First off, it makes LIMES! Second, its a tree, which is pretty exciting. Also, I’m pretty sure I will constantly smell of lime from now on, which might be the coolest part.
Since I now own a lime tree and I’m responsible for its well being, I decided to do some research.
- Lime Trees don’t like cold (I saw some winter coats last week, but it was only 55 degrees, I think I’m good here)
- Lime Trees like lots of light (It’s really sunny here, hopefully my window keeps the tree happy)
- Lime Trees main predators include but are not limited to:
- Coronas
- Guacamole
- Fresh fish
- Tequila Shots
I thought I was fine, until I started reading about the lists of predators for lime trees. I think I’ll be alright, but imagine if theres a Corona Guacamole Tequila Shot party. I’m not sure the tree would survive…
Countdown begins to first lime tasting, stay tuned.

Do you know about citronas? Open a Corona. Drink the neck of the beer. Fill empty space with lime segment and Citron vodka. Seal beer with meaty thumb and invert beer to allow vodka to mix with beer. Enjoy.
I imagine you could accomplish a similarly delicious and refreshing drink with Corona and tequila. Tequilona?
