I decided I would start posting some of the photos I’ve taken over the past couple years that are just collecting dust on my computer, here’s round 1.This photo is from Leiout 2003 finals, Carbomb vs. Beeach. It was taken with my old Pentax Optio 330GS pointed right into the sun to get the effect you see here. I love the sense of action from the cutter near the middle (I think thats Greg Husak) and the thrower just releasing his throw. Add that to the craziness of the sun and the oranges from the camera freaking out about pointing into the sun and the photo turned out well for an ultimate photo from a point and shoot camera. I’ve always wondered if I should get rid of the sunspot or not, still undecided.
Don’t get rid of the sunspot. The photo is perfect as is.
This photo kept me warm for the last three months in Oregon. AS the background of my desktop, it was the only time I saw the sun.
