Dave in LA

I bought a Dwarf Bearss Lime Tree on Sunday evening and I couldn’t be more excited. I’ve always loved plants, but a lime tree is even more exciting than the average plant. First off, it makes LIMES! Second, its a tree, which is pretty exciting. Also, I’m pretty sure I will constantly smell of lime from now on, which might be the coolest part.

Since I now own a lime tree and I’m responsible for its well being, I decided to do some research.

• Lime Trees don’t like cold (I saw some winter coats last week, but it was only 55 degrees, I think I’m good here)
• Lime Trees like lots of light (It’s really sunny here, hopefully my window keeps the tree happy)
• Lime Trees main predators include but are not limited to:
  • Coronas
  • Guacamole
  • Fresh fish
  • Tequila Shots

I thought I was fine, until I started reading about the lists of predators for lime trees. I think I’ll be alright, but imagine if theres a Corona Guacamole Tequila Shot party. I’m not sure the tree would survive…
