I took this photo on a road trip from Washington to Minnesota. My good friend and college roommate Justin and I were road tripping it across the West and decided to stop at Yellowstone National Park for a bit. When we left the park, we ended up on some lesser known state highways before we found our way back to I-94. Anyway, it was completely worth it to go a bit out of our way since we stumbled upon this nice little scene.

Here we go with another photo, this one from back in 2003. I was driving from LA to Minnesota at the end of the school year and we stopped at this rest stop somewhere in Utah. I couldn’t really believe how the view of the mountains with the highway running through them. I’m sure plenty of other people have taken this picture since it’s a highway rest stop, but I still love it.
