I was thinking about some ideas related to the publicity of ultimate tournaments and I think Twitter could be a great tool to advertise for tournament reporting. If everyone included “UPA” in their Twitter messages, you could have realtime ultimate updates simply by tracking the phrase “UPA” on Twitter. This would require very little work by the UPA and could easily be adapted into a quick efficient score-reporting tool with a days work by a script ninja and the UPA score reporting system. Just a thought bouncing around in my head along with my crazy ideas for my new domain: www.collegeultimate.net (more on this in the future!).
